The project’s electricity is supplied through a private transformer station with the support of set of emergency generators. A telephone system network public address and background music systems cover the entire complex. The complex relies on a Building management system that electronically monitors and optimizes the electrical and mechanical functions and handles the energy management.
Appropriate internal temperatures and a smoke – free atmosphere are integral elements of any successful place. All of Nile city’s buildings are therefore fully covered with a central air conditioning system and a state of the art smoke evacuation system. At the same time, 300- cubic meter of concrete water tanks, supply all parts of the project with water through a copper- piping network
Security measures are numerous and up to the highest standards to mention only a few examples: The entire complex is equipped with a fire detection and alarm system that complies with international safety measures. In case of fire, an evacuation message is broadcasted in Arabic and English in the buildings public areas while a fire siren will be used in the basement and the towers. The complex is fully covered by automatic sprinklers and hose cabinet systems. At the same time, the public areas are equipped with a closed television system for surveillance.
The basement contains 4 floors of parking totaling + 1200 car parking places, and some technical rooms. The South Tower apartments have a private parking area on basement level minus one. The hotel operator also have a dedicated parking area on this level. Restricted areas of the basement -1 to -3 could be designated for hotel use only. The rest of the available parking area of the basement levels -1 to -3 and the whole of level -4 area shared by the offices and the shopping mall tenants. These different parking areas can be physically separated from each other to ensure maximum privacy and safety.
Fairmont Nile City offers state-of-the-art services reflecting the expectations of a world- class traveler. The recently expanded laundry is spread over 1,148 square meters with 7 washing machines between 120, 60, 40, and 18 kilograms. That’s in addition to 5 dryers between 75, 45, and 26 kilograms, 2 dry cleaning machines, 5 press machines, 4 irons, 2 flat irons, 2 marking machines, and 2 packaging machines.
